Red-Black Testing for Juniors

Monday, May 21 - We conducted our third Red/Black belt test at PowerKenpo. The test included Sahaj Singh, Eric Brem, Aakash Padakandla, and Tiffany Hulkowich.



Each student demonstrated a high degree of proficiency in the material, but each also brought strengths to specific areas. Aakash demonstrated a very sharp, technical approach; Tiffany and Sahaj demonstrated superior sparring abilities; and Eric approached each technique, form, and sparring opponent with intensity and focus.

Also present at the test - four students who will be testing for Junior Black Belt in June. Megan Sotelo, Dylan Garrett, Sammy de la Garza and Emily Patterson took part in the test, feeding techniques and sparring during the test.

Students who reached Red/Black this week will eligible to test for Junior Black in December, 2007.
